About Rebecca

The compassionate and qualified staff of The S.E. Farris Law Firm gives clients the benefit of years of experience. This allows us to guide clients through what can be a difficult time with the skill and knowledge that makes the process a little easier.

Prior to joining The S.E. Farris Law Firm, Rebecca Bruchhauser spent 12 years working in public policy both locally and in Washington, D.C. An Illinois native, she has worked in the Illinois legislature and the office of Governor Jim Edgar, and brings political experience to the firm.

She spent ten years working in healthcare and developing a strong understanding of the treatment and care patients experience following serious and catastrophic injuries; from the ER, to the OR to the administrative perspective. For five of these years, she served as the administration liaison to an 800-member medical staff in one of St. Louis’ fastest-growing hospitals, with an emphasis on strategic planning, physician recruitment and business development.

She enjoyed serving on the American Parkinson’s Disease Association Board of Directors at Washington University for nearly ten years, five of those as the Vice President.  Currently, she is on the board of directors for the Miss Missouri Volunteer Program which awards over $25,000 in scholarship money annually. She has been involved in scholarship pageants for over 30 years and is a certified Miss America judge.

Rebecca enjoys spending time with their two rescue pups, Bogie and Bacall. She is a beekeeper and reluctant gardener. She loves cooking, white water rafting and travelling, having visited 46 states in the U.S. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
