St. Louis, MO (September 18, 2019)— Attorney Spencer Farris of The S.E. Farris Law Firm was recently invited to become a Fellow in the exclusive Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). Farris was nominated by another lawyer against whom he has had cases. The LCA boasts exclusivity by maintaining a limit of 3,500 members nationally.
Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA represents the best in law among its membership. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
Farris has been practicing personal injury law for almost 30 years. He is a graduate of Washington University School of Law, and became Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocates at his first eligibility. He continued his training and graduated from The Trial Lawyer’s College, founded by Gerry Spence.
Since then, Farris has served on the Board of Governors for the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and several other active bar associations. He also writes a syndicated column on the law for Under Analysis.
“It’s great to be recognized for my litigation experience,” said Farris. “There are so few lawyers that have litigation experience these days that it’s becoming a dying artform in our profession. I have and will continue to work hard to perfect my litigation skills for the benefit of our clients.”
Farris was invited to join the LCA and other like-minded groups due to his success with cases like Schaefer v. Kellan Management. In that case, his client fell and was injured at a restaurant. Although she offered to settle many times including at trial for $25,000, the defendant refused to pay. The jury awarded $75,000 after three days of trial. Few lawyers are willing to try lawsuits these days, according to Farris, especially for fall injuries. The S.E. Farris Law firm is willing to go the distance for its clients and continues to prove that dedication.
